Lucas came down with the Chicken Pox. On Wednesday I noticed a bump on his thigh that looked like mosquito bite and thought nothing of it. Later in the day I saw another bump, so I lifted up his shirt and there were bumps everywhere. I did some research because he was vaccinated when he was 1. The vaccination is only 80% effective and those that get the pox after the vaccination have a milder case. The next day he had bumps everywhere from his ears to the bottom of his feet. He had no fever and nothing itched. Part of the day he was running around the house in his diaper as happy as can be and his skin looked horrible. I itched just looking at him. The good thing about being vaccinated is that the bumps are now just fading and not becoming scabs. He should be able to return to school Tuesday. He has been miserable being "quarantined". Now, I hope Jackson does not come down with the Chicken Pox. He gets his vaccination when he turns 1 next month.
Jackson has started walking. It is just the cutest thing to see:)

I bet chicken pox are the worst. I remember having them and they sucked. I've been hearing of a lot of kids getting them around this time, I'm glad my kids haven't gotten them....yet!!!
I cannot believe he had the Chicken Pox... I told mom I am totally selfish but I was so happy I didnt live around you because I can still get them. How is he doing now? That is awesome about Jackson walking you need to post some pictures of it. By the way I am sorry this is so late but thanks for the clothes.. they are great, I am just slow at thanking you for them!
Mom told me about the chicken pox--that's crazy! At least they weren't as bad as they used to be. I can't believe Jackson is walking! He's growing so fast! Hope we get to see you guys at Christmas!
